OligoScaler to your exact requirements
Oligonucleotide synthesis in pharma process development is both challenging and cost-intensive. That’s why we designed a synthesis platform that combines high precision, reliability, and scalability – allowing you to develop manufacturing methods in preparation for GMP.
With the KNAUER OligoScaler, you can seamlessly move from lab-scale synthesis (≈100 μmol) to production-scale synthesis up to 30 mmol. Thanks to flow rates of up to 250 mL/min per pump, you benefit from shorter contact times with sensitive reagents, enabling you to control and minimize impurity profiles effectively. Our intuitive software provides all the tools you need to fine-tune your synthesis.
Adjust coupling steps, modify oxidizer contact times, or recycle difficult modifications – all with just a few clicks. Design your synthesis exactly the way you need it. The standard configuration offers 12 phosphoramidite positions with integrated wash ports to prevent cross-contamination, plus 10 reagent positions that provide flexibility for any number of additional chemistry or phosphoramidite inlets.
Real-time monitoring of your detritylation curve with our detector lets you track synthesis performance at one of up to four wavelengths (190–900 nm), while conductivity measurement within the recycle loop ensures precise process control.
