What is the difference between 'Isobar Mode' and 'Constant Pressure Mode'

ISOBAR MODE: This mode is only available for the pump AZURA P 2.1L, it allows running the isocratic pump at a constant pressure with variable flow rates. CONSTANT PRESSURE MODE: This mode is only available for pump AZURA P 6.1L. The Constant Pressure Mode allows running the pump at constant pressure with variable flow rate also in a gradient system. This feature is also named ’’Constant Pressure Mode’’ for isocratic AZURA P 6.1L pumps.

The isobar (P2.1L) and constant pressure (P6.1L) modes were developed under standard HPLC conditions with standard system components. The parameters for pressure control are stored in the pump's firmware and cannot be modified by the user.
