In this workshop the KNAUER team will introduce their elaborate chromatography solutions for batch or continuous purification modes and their diverse pump, valve and detector portfolio. KNAUER’s system configuration is highly flexible due to its modular nature, with special upgrades such as eluent and column heaters possible, and smart valves for easy switching between tasks beyond peak and solvent recycling. KNAUER’s new liquid handler allows for the expansion of HPLC and FPLC processes with the ability to carry out both sample injection and fraction collection with a flexible arrangement; facilitating the reinjection of samples to reach new levels of purification. The handler injects samples with minimal loss regardless of their volume – perfect for working with expensive compounds. It’s not just hardware either, KNAUER also have new, highly flexible software for preparative chromatography – PurityChrom 6. PurityChrom 6’s animated flowpath visualizations improve usability and method writing whilst providing intelligent fraction collection and the ability to configure several different systems in one program. The cherry on top? The software also meets the standards of gamp 5 and 21 CFR part 11.
