Eurokat 8 mm ID precolumns do not need any precolumn holder as they are built up just like the analytical main column. For installing or exchanging the 8 mm ID guard column, just wait for the columns to depressurize and cooling down the temperature after a run. Then loosen the capillaries at the head of the analytical column and install the small precolumn on top of the main column.
