The Peptide Engineering Meeting (PEM) is a triennial international symposium addressing themes relevant to chemists, biologists, and researchers active in the fields of peptide folding and materials science. In particular, concepts such as the structure based design of peptides, peptide-protein interactions, peptide-membrane interactions, bioactive peptides and peptide based materials are emphasized. It also serves as an excellent platform to foster international collaboration.
Previous meetings in this series were held in Osaka (Japan, 1997), Naples (Italy, 2000), Boston (USA, 2003), Yokohama (Japan, 2006), Barcelona (Spain, 2009), Atlanta (USA, 2012) and Pune (India, 2015).
PEM8 will bring together at the Harnack House in Berlin, Germany established scientists and younger researchers from across the globe, and dedicate talks, posters, and informal discussions to current topics in peptide engineering.
