Sample preparation
Before the chromatography process can start, a wide range of sample matrices including foodstuffs, tussues, plants and environmental samples need to be cleaned. Especially high molecular weight compounds such as lipids, polymers, co-polymers, proteins, natural resins, cellular components and steroids should be dispersed from the sample in order to protect the chromatography system from blockings.
