In which way can arts increase the level of creativity in the company? With the project called "art@KNAUER", KNAUER encourages the artistic activities of the employees.
KNAUER has a special interest in the development of its employee potentials both in a personal and professional environment. For this reason, the project art@KNAUER takes place in the KNAUER headquarters with the exhibitions starting in January 2012.
Six employees present their paintings, drawings, or photographies for two months each. This offers a great opportunity for the artists to present their work and seek the exchange. The works will not only be a wonderful decoration but also a feast for the eyes for every visitor.
Interview with Ms. Patrycja Chudzik, first artist of the art@KNAUER project
Ms. Chudzik, when did you start painting?
„Most of the pictures presented here I created in the years 2006 and 2007, after I had finished my secondary education. During this time I focused on female nude painting. I tried different techniques and chose that I like oil paints best.”
How much time do you spend on one painting?
„It does not take me long. I finish a painting in less than 4 hours.”
Where do you get your inspiration from?
„This is a very difficult question and I have problems answering it. I hardly ever know what the final version will look like. That makes it easier for me to paint. Sometimes I take a bath thinking about what to do next. It is often the case that I suddenly get inspired.”
What does your home look like? Do you hang your own paintings on your walls?
„My flat is my gallery. My paintings can be seen in nearly every room and on my website.”
