Help in Operating KNAUER Online
Navigating the Website
Located in the upper corner of the browser window is a function bar with graphic buttons and directly below these buttons is the menu bar. Both of these features remain visible during your entire visit with us at KNAUER Online, even if you scroll down to the next page. It is possible to easily search all areas of our website using these elements. An even easier way to search our website is by entering the key words in the search field and then hitting ENTER or RETURN or click on Go! The list of information found will then be displayed.
Each website contains a gray area in which typically hypertext links to other websites, short information, or banners are offered. These elements enable further topics on the website to be reached. In addition, a gray bar at the top of each page is displayed that tells you where you currently are in your search. This path consists of hypertext links that display the way from the homepage to the current website. Prolonged websites constantly offer hypertext links at the very end of a page which enable you to easily jump back to the beginning of the document or homepage.
In general, most browsers support various keys or key combinations in order to move a document. Some of these keys include the arrow keys (for vertical and horizontal scrolling) or the page up and page down keys. Often the Pos 1 and End keys also work to bring you to the first or last page. It may be necessary to press the Cntrl key for this.
